Holly Dunn
Holly Dunn is an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies. She completed her PhD in Political Science at the University of Minnesota in 2018. Holly conducted extensive fieldwork in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, where she explored how people understand harms and disputes in their everyday lives, and how they navigate the terrain of legal pluralism. Her first book titled, Legal Consciousness and the Rule of Law in Post-Conflict Societies: Emergent Hybrid Legality in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, was recently published with Routledge.
Currently, Holly is working on several projects at the intersection of methodology and research ethics.
