    MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of the Strategic Intelligence and Emergent Technologies at the Joint Special Operations University at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida

    Darrin L. Frye, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of the Strategic Intelligence and Emergent Technologies at the Joint Special Operations University at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Frye is a former US Army Reservist, serving as a Preventive Medicine and Civil Affairs officer with two deployments to Iraq. He has 3 decades of clinical experience in surgical, emergent, preventive, and performance medicine. His previous military assignment was at USAMRDC in Fort Detrick, MD where he led the Medical Simulation, and Sustainment of Expeditionary Medical Skills portfolios for the Combat Casualty Care Research Program. He focused on advanced immersive and emergent technologies designed to accelerate learning, improve training effectiveness, and maximizing operational cognitive and physical performance. Dr. Frye’s education includes an M.D. degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine – Wichita, an M.P.H. from Florida International University, and a B.G.S. in Human Biology from the University of Kansas.

    Dave is the Academic Director at the University of South Florida’s Global and National Security Institute. He served in the U.S. Army as a field artillery officer and strategist, in the Central Intelligence Agency's (CIA) National Clandestine Service/Directorate of Operations as a Staff Operations Officer (SOO), and as a contractor at the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center. His last assignment in the U.S. Army was as an assistant professor at National Defense University’s College of International Security Affairs in Washington, D.C. Prior to GNSI, he was an associate professor at Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) in Tampa. ‌ Dave is a Visiting Research Fellow at King’s Centre for the Study of Intelligence and is on the editorial boards for Intelligence and National Security, InterPopulum: Journal of Irregular Warfare and Special Operations, and JSOU Press. His book, Subordinating Intelligence: The DoD/CIA Post-Cold War Relationship, was published by the University Press of Kentucky in 2019/2022.

    Jennifer McArdle

    Senior Director for Futures at CAE USA

    Dr. Jennifer McArdle is the Senior Director for Futures at CAE USA. She also serves as an Adjunct Senior Fellow in the Center for a New American Security’s defense program and wargaming lab and as the NATO Defence College 2024 Eisenhower Fellow. McArdle previously served as the Head of Research at Improbable U.S. Defense & National Security, where her team focused on developing more performant runtime environments and synthetic populations. A former professor, McArdle has served on Congressman Langevin’s cyber advisory committee and as an expert member of a NATO technical group that developed cyber effects for the military alliance’s campaign simulations. McArdle holds a Ph.D. from King’s College London in War Studies, is the recipient of the RADM Fred Lewis (I/ITSEC) doctoral scholarship in modeling and simulation and is a certified modeling and simulation professional (CMSP). She is a term member with the Council on Foreign Relations and was named an official “Mad Scientist” by the US Army Training and Doctrine Command.

    Sriram Chellappan

    Professor in The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of South Florida

    Sriram Chellappan is a Professor in The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of South Florida, where he directs the SCORE (Social Computing Research) Lab. His primary interests lie in many aspects of how Society and Technology interact with each other, particularly within the realms of Smart Health, Cyber Safety and Privacy. He is also interested in Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Computing and Cybersecurity. Sriram's research is/has been supported by grants from National Science Foundation, Department of Education, Army Research Office, National Security Agency, DARPA and more. Sriram received the PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio-State University in 2007. Sriram received the NSF CAREER Award in 2013.
