Dagmar Graczyk

Dagmar Graczyk has close to 25 of experience in the energy field combining country-level energy policy analysis and energy development practice.

She joined the International Energy Agency in Paris, France in May 2003, where she currently works as Senior Energy Analyst managing in-depth energy policy review of IEA member countries. Prior to this, she was managing the South Asia Programme of the IEA, with a special focus on India. From 1993 to 2003 she worked for Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines focussing on infrastructure projects (energy and transport) in South Asia and the Mekong Region. In 2000, she received the ADB President Award for excellent performance.

From 1990 to 1993 she worked for the United Nations Development Programme in Geneva, Switzerland with a focus on community projects and micro-finance for women in Africa. She also worked short-term with the World Bank in Washington, D.C., McKinsey and Company, Germany and the (West) German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation.

Ms. Graczyk has a Master in Economics and a Master in Sociology from the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel, Germany.
